Skatelatro is an action deckbuilder where you build you skatepark in order to ride it and score points!

/!\ Don't see the "Ride" button in the top right? Put the game in fullscreen!

You need to score enough points each round.

There are 2 phases:

- Building the skatepark: placing cards from your deck into the board.

- Riding the skatepark: do some QTEs inside each card in order to win points.

Each card has an energy cost, you need to have enough energy in order to continue the ride!

If that's the case and you win the QTE, you will win the card associated points and energy.

The arrows on the bottom of the cards are the keys you need to press for the QTEs.

Between each round you'll be able to pick wheels (relics) and cards!

This game has been made in 5 days by Khun Faucheur & PIPAPOU for the Code For A Cause game jam.

Intressting needs some polish, and yeah a speed system that makes you faster and harder but also boost points would be good so you have to ballance speed with your skill, and more intresting wheels are a must, IE one that auto succeeds one you failed once per round, and one that lets you draw 2 more but need to place a extra card, and a penalti for failing cards might also abe a good idea, as well as bonus trick QTS on cards you can try and do for extra points.

Pretty fun, one suggestion though, the game feels pretty slow, and the energy mechanic makes very little sense for skateboarding. Why not switch it out for a speed system, where you go faster for each unit of speed you have, and you slow down some after each card.

Super fun! When you have the color wheel and place all of the colors or the lifesaver wheel you don't need to get any QTEs to pass the first couple levels.

Thanks! Yes some relics makes it very easy for the first couple rounds but maybe they are not the best for the endgame!

If you continue developing this game, you could make it so you can only get them later, but it does not come close to breaking the game so you should definitely do what you want.
